Large Bezel Set Faceted Stone Ring - 4th May
In this one-day workshop you will learn how measure, make and set an oval or square faceted stone into a hand-built bezel ring or pendant. You will learn how to make an inner and outer bezel, how to seat the stone properly and how to set a faceted stone. The setting will be incorporated into the shank of the ring for a professional finish and polished to a high standard.
This is an intermediate to advanced level class. You must have completed our level one or equivalent course and ideally level two or equivalent. Please get in touch if you aren't sure if this class is right for you.

Who is this class suitable for?
Intermediate and above You will get the most from this class if you already have some basic skills.
What will I make?
You will create a sterling silver ring with a heavy bezel set facted stone.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to fabrictae an inner and outer bezel and seat it into your ring band. You'll learn how to measure,, scribe and cut with accuracy, and precision. You'll learn how to seat your stone securely and adjust the fit where needed. You'll learn how to seat the bezel within the ring band and to set the stone level and true. You'll be shown proper finishing and polishing technique for a professional and high quality finish.
What is included?
All tools, equipment and materials are provided. A CZ stone and enough silver to make one ring is provided. You are welcome to bring your own materials if you prefer.
