We are so proud of our students. Every single one of you. From the absolute beginners to the professional jewellers. It's the students that make NJS so special. Each month we want to get to know one a little better and we are starting with the gorgeous Susannah of Susannah Brookes Jewellery.
Susannah started her jewellery making journey with us in 2017 and over the last few years has blossomed into a creative and confident jeweller. She came back to us most recently to do our Sketchbooks For Jewellers course. She set up her own eco-jewellery business and hasn't looked back. Working in recycled silver, Susannah's workshop is set up to be as environmentally conscience as possible. Her gentle and sustainable approach runs through every part of her jewellery and her business - even her packaging is carefully sourced from recycled and sustainable materials.
Susannah is our maker of the month because she has taken the skills, tools and techniques we taught her and made them truly her own. By combining her jewellery making knowledge with her own passion for the environment she has created a business with heart.
