You've booked a class - what now?
Welcome to the jewellery school.
You've placed your booking to join us for a class or course so what happens now?

Once we have received your booking we will add your name to the class register within a few days. It's a small admin team of one so this doesn't always happen immediately. We'll send you a receipt for your payment and a welcome message to the email address you used to place the booking so make sure you use your current email. These can sometimes go to your spam, junk or promotions folder - add nottinghamjewelleryschool@gmail.com to your safe senders list to ensure the email reaches you.

The website listing for your class will stay live until the day of the class. You can check the details anytime. The dates, times, class tutor, venue and class description will be on there. All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions.

A couple of days before the class or course begins we'll send you an email confirming any last minute information. We send the email to remind you about the class and to let you know any important information for the day. Once we have sent this email we can no longer issue any refunds or exchanges.

Our studio is easy to get to by car, on foot or public transport you can find details of how to find us here. The studio is on the second floor but does have lift access. Once you are in the workshop we have wide doors and space for wheelchair users. The disabled access toilet is on the floor above and also accessed via the lift. If you have specific mobility requirements please let us know and we will try and make the workshop more suitable for you.

Aprons, eye protection and other safety equipment is provided when required but you can bring your own if you prefer. Please wear studio appropriate clothing - long sleeves, solid, flat shoes which cover your whole foot and no loose clothing scarves or jewellery. Tie back long hair and if you need glasses for reading or close up work then do bring them. The workshop can be cold so we recommend bringing layers and wearing plenty of socks.

Complimentary tea, coffee, cake and biscuits are provided but if you are coming to a full day class you will need to bring a packed lunch or nip out to the local Tesco - about a 10 min walk away. we use oat milk in the jewellery school but you are welcome to bring an alternative if you prefer.

If you have your own jewellery tools that you would like to bring with you then you are very welcome to do so. Please make sure they are labelled. Please don't take any of our tools, equipment, materials, aprons or other workshop items home - we'll need them for the next class.

We like to take photo's and short videos of the class throughout each session. If you don't want to be photographed just let your class tutor know. You are welcome to take photos throughout your class and please do tag us if you put them up on social media.
