WINTRY WILDLIFE CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATIONS - PROJECT SHEET

Add a handmade decoration to your tree and your Christmas traditions. You could make a whole set of wintry wildlife to sit together or personalise each decoration to make a bespoke present or gift tag.  This project is simple, satisfying and seasonal. Happy Christmas 2023!!
 
To complete this project you will need:
 
MATERIALS
•    Sheet metal - silver, gold, brass, bronze, aluminium or copper. 0.5mm - 0.9mm - or any sheet material that you can cut with your piercing saw - wood, plastic, recycled materials etc
•    0.5mm - 1mm wire or you could use coloured thread or thin ribbon

TOOL KIT ESSENTIALS
•    Piercing saw, bench peg and 2/0 blades
•    Selection of needle files - square, triangular and half round
•    Emery paper in 800 grit and 1200 grit or thereabouts
•    Drill or hole punch pliers
•    Round nose pliers
•    Flat nose pliers
•    Texturing hammer• Finishing media of choice
 
OPTIONAL
•    Soldering kit
•    Metal stamps
