Whether you are yet to come to your first class with us or are a regular face in our workshop - did you know that our classes and courses are not the only way we support jewellery makers to learn, create and grow in our Nottingham jewellery workshop?
Alongside our advertised programme of jewellery making and silver smithing classes and courses we offer bespoke one to one tuition, workshop access sessions, online courses and, projects you can download and make at home.
ONE TO ONE TUITION
One to one sessions can be booked at any time with one of our expert tutors. They will guide and support your learning in a focused and bespoke session designed to suit your specific needs. Our professional jewellers provide tuition in all areas of jewellery design, making, technical instruction, creative and business skills. We help you get the most out of every session to ensure you grow your skills, knowledge and confidence at your own pace.
Alongside one to one sessions in our beautiful workshop we also offer virtual tutorials. You'll need an internet enabled device (phone, tablet or computer with a webcam) and your own workspace, materials and equipment.
Sessions can cover technical making, design, or business skills. If you need extra tools or materials for your session, these can be purchased through us or we are happy to recommend suppliers. One to ones can be booked at a time to suit you - as single sessions or as a longer course.
A single one hour session is £45 and a single two hour session is £80. If you want longer support, a set of six one hour sessions is £240 and a set of six two hour sessions is £420. Materials are charged as an extra cost or you are welcome to provide your own. Use of tools, equipment and consumables is included along with, of course, unlimited tea, coffee and biscuits as required.

STUDIO ACCESS SESSIONS
Our regular access sessions give you the opportunity to make use of our tools, equipment and knowledge to work on your own projects. Whether you need access to a tool that isn't yet in your collection, a little bit of advice or moral support or just some company while you get creative these sessions allow you to work on your own projects and ideas in your own time. Each session is led by one of our terrific tutors who will be happy to give advice or answer any questions. The sessions are untaught so you have plenty of time to explore your own projects but you must have enough experience to work independently - perfect if you have already completed a course with us.

PROJECTS TO DOWNLOAD
Our downloadable projects sheets bring you designs and ideas to complete in your own home workshop. Download the PDF work sheet and use the materials list, tools list, templates and instructions to complete the project.
Each one is a finished design but has plenty of options for you to adapt and personalise the project and make as many as you like for just £5.
Our downloadable projects are designed so you can complete them using a basic tool kit in your home workshop - if you have one of our 'I Want It All' makers kit then you have all the tools you'll need to make these designs. And of course you are also welcome to work on them in our workshop too.

ONLINE COURSES
Our online courses allow you to enhance and improve your jewellery making skills and knowledge from the comfort of your own workspace. You'll learn at your own pace, taking the time you need on each stage of the process to make it work for you. We still believe the best way to learn the practical and technical skills of making is in a live class but we are really excited to be able to offer supporting skills in design, business, workshop care and more to come soon.
Each course lasts six weeks, with tasks, exercises, videos, information and tutorials emailled to you at the beginning of each week for you to work on. You are welcome to get in touch with your course leader, at any point during the course, to get extra support, answer questions, motivation and encouragement along the way. The course materials are a combination of PDF information sheets, tutorials, tasks and exercises along with a video guide for the weeks subject for you to watch. These course materials can be downloaded and are yours to keep once the course has ended so you can continue to learn, make and create.
