An introduction to the delicate art of claw setting. In this class you will create a setting for a round faceted stone from a piece of square wire. Learning to bisect, cut and form the wire to create  secure setting with no fiddly soldering involved. 


This is great class to get to grips with claw setting - you can explore and gain experience in the mechanics of the process and get redy to tackle more complex projects.

Who is this class suitable for?

Intermediate to more experienced makers will get the most from this class. 

What will I make?

You will make a sterling silver ring set with a round facet CZ stone. 

What will I learn?

You will learn how to create a simple claw setting from a section of square wire and how to seat the setting into a fitted ring shank.  

What is included?

All tools, equipment and materials for the class are provided.  More materials will be available to buy at the class if desired.
