This six week, Wednesday evening, course will introduce you to the foundation skills of silver smithing and give you the space, time and confidence to work on your own designs.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Who is this class suitable for?
Beginners to intermediate makers
What will I make?
The course focuses on teaching you skills and techniques which you can apply to you own projects and designs. What you make is up to you. Most students make a selection of rings, earrings, pendants, cuff, bangles and brooches.
What will I learn?
A wide variety of basic jewellery making and silver smithing skills, including saw piercing, soldering, texturing, shaping, filing, finishing, polishing, drilling, stamping, riveting, and more.
What is included?
All tools and equipment are provided. Aluminium, brass and copper sheet and wire and base metal jewellery findings are included in your class fee. Please provide your own silver or purchase it at the class.
