Ethical Gem Fair - 28th September
Our first ever ethical gem stone sale at NJS. Following on from the Gemmology class on Saturday 27th September, join us to learn about, browse and buy fair mined and tracebale gemstones to add to your work. The will be tea, cake, jewellers and gemstones. What could be lovelier.
Entry is free and you can either sign up here (it helps us to know how mauch cake to make) or be spontaneous and show up on the day. No tickets or pre-booking required.
Aimed at students, makers, jewellers and gemstone enthusiast, this event in collaboration with Nineteen48 specialises in fully traceable and responsibly sourced gemstones from carefully selected locations around the world.
At the gem fair, there will be a range of gemstones on display from several source countries, including Sri Lanka, Brazil, Australia, Tanzania and the USA.
All the stones have traceability back to the mines through our transparent and supportive supply chains.
Stones on display will include sapphire, ruby, spinel, garnet, tourmaline, aquamarine, opal, amethyst and citrine, along with many others.
The gemstones are priced so suit all budgets and there are always a few special offers that are only available at our in-person events.
