April / May Six Week Continuous Provision course - Thursday eve
All levels Jewellery Evening School.
Designed for jewellers who have already completed our level one, two or three six week course (or the equivelent somewhere else) this six week, Thursday evening, course allows makers of all levels to come together to work on their own designs, ideas, projects and pieces with the support of one of our expert tutors.
In this course you are in charge of what you will make and learn, with all our NJS tools and equipment available to use. You can work on learning new techniques, embedding existing skills or creating your own designs in a friendly and supportive workshop environment.
This course offers continuing workshop access to build on your level one, level two or level three experience. This is a project based class. In the first session we will develop an individual project aim for each student to maintain focus and momentum through the course.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Who is this class suitable for?
All levels. You need to know which end of the hammer to hold, how to change a saw blade and how to operate the soldering torch safely but this is a mixed ability class.
What will I make?
The course focuses on independant learning. You'll be in charge of what you make - whether that a rnage of samples and experiements, a single perfect piece or a small collection of items.
What will I learn?
You'll build on the skills you already have and learn new techniques as required to help you create your designs. This is a project based course so you will start with a project aim and work towards acheiving that.
What is included?
All tools and equipment are provided. Aluminium, brass and copper sheet and wire and base metal jewellery findings are included in your class fee. Please provide your own silver or purchase it at the class.
