Keum Boo

The ancient Korean art of Keum Boo is a wonderful technique to fuse 24ct gold to fine silver.
Working with pre-cut shapes you will learn how to apply the 24ct gold through heating and burnishing to create a permanent bond. You will then be able to texture your piece with various silversmithing tools and rolling mills. After you are happy with the texture you will finish your piece using tools and polishers for a bright or patinated finish. Price includes materials for up to four pieces. If time allows you may create another (materials will cost extra).
